Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam!!

Today I was called to teach the Sunbeam class. I don't know if our Heavenly Father has a sense of humor, or if I need to learn the value of patience. All I can say is that I'm scared to death! The boy behind us during sacrament meeting was realeased and as I was called to stand, he laughed and said, "good luck!!" Not what I wanted to hear! Hopefully, I will be able to keep their attention and teach them something....we'll see!

I know the pieces fit...

Last night, I got a call and the girl on the line said "I think you're my sister." I thought it was a joke until she started telling me things only my biological mother could know. We talked for about 20 minutes and then she called my biological mother and gave her my number! We talked and cried! It was amazing. I have two half sisters and one half brother.
I called my Mom and Dad and they were (of course) very supportive. My Mother has always helped me in my decision for me to find her. I will post more later, as soon as I get more information.
As for now...the pieces are coming together!

Finding Old Friends

I have to write about something amazing that happened the other day. Please don't think I'm the "scary stalker type" but I was a roommate with these wonderful girls for a while here in Utah back in 98-99. I have searched for one of these girls-who was basically my second mother! She took care of me like I was her own. I lost touch with her in 2002 and have been searching for her ever since, until yesterday. I did a search in her sister's name and came across a number for her and called it. Celeste Curtis is one of the hardest people to find!!!! Trust me!! I also found the rest of the girls who we lived with...fun times! So here's to you Celeste, and the other girls! I missed you a ton and hope we can catch up!!

Family Pics...Finally!!

We went to Burley the week of the Cassia County Fair and had Emily Garrard take some pictures of us. Sad to say, we've never had family pictures taken, ever! I'm terrible. Most couples have thousands of pics but this is our first experience. Thank goodness for friends with talent!!

I need help!!!

No, I'm not talking mentally here! I need to know how to add people to my friend list without having to know their email or...just tell me how!! I have done searches and googled it! Am I just that stupid? I'm new to this but it seems like my children could be better at this than I am! Can anyone help me out????

Memory Game...

My friend posted this fun thing and I thought I'd play along have fun...

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don’t want to play on your blog, or if you don’t have a blog, I’ll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Thank goodness for water!!!

This summer is worse than the last. I don't do well in extreme heat at all. Last year I was seven months pregnant and totally miserable. My mother, of course is still wearing scarves and mittens and her long underwear at work, I on the other hand am scarring my children for life walking around scantily clad. I don't know if I'm going through menopause or if I've died and gone to hell, I'm just always burning up. So, this summer, we have been taking total advantage of my Aunt and Uncle's pool. I know their sick of us but they're nice enough to always grin and bear it. Honestly, I don't know of any other way to spend this summer.

This is the only time I was able to dress London the way I wanted to. She is such a stinker about lying still enough to put clothes on.

Me and My Fam

Sydney had a blast, however, not after she ran into the deck at the bottom of the hill!
